Hey! Things are going very well. I renamed Stormy "Nora" because "Stormy" just didn't seem like the timid creature she was--not that whoever named her as a puppy was to know that. Anyway, she seems happy here. Although she is still timid, she is SOOOO much better than she was. There's a group of folks who meet every every Wednesday night, and they helped socialize her quickly. She likes other dogs. She doesn't like to walk on a leash, so I don't take her out much--have to pick her up at every intersection, because she's dug her claws into the asphalt.
She does startle very easily--like if I cross or uncross my legs while watching television! It's made me move very deliberately through the house.
Of course, my cat, Aiden, still rules the house, but that includes me, too. Nora does bark at him and chase him through the house occasionally. They're both scared of a black stray whom I feed when it comes to the door!
