Spanky is a handsome male Lab mix, who will be 3yrs old in September '11. He is a total sweetheart and a perfect gentlemen. He is neutered, current on all shots and on monthly heartworm prevention. He's completely ready for a new home now, and is waiting ever so patiently. He is one true gentlemen and enough can't be said about this loving lil' boy. :) Spanky can sit, down,stay, and shake paws.
He is approx. 50 lbs and 24 inches tall as of February 2010.

Hobie
Hobie is approx. 3 1/2 yrs. old as of August 2011. He is an adorable Terrier mix male He does walk well on a leash, and has the perfect balance of playfulness with affection. His mother came in pregnant, 3 days before she delivered 10 pups, 1 did not make it. However, 9 innocent sweethearts were taken very good care of by mom Brownie. Brownie has been adopted, as well as the other puppies, now Hobie is the last one who is still looking for his forever home. He is approx. 45 lbs and 18 1/2 inches tall as of February 2010. He is up to date on shots, will be neutered before leaving and is on heartworm prevention.
Nikki
*Nikki has been spayed, is current on shots and just waiting for that forever home! Such a happy well behaved girl, you couldn't ask for better!*
Pictures taken August 30, 2011. In March 2011 we found an ad a volunteer placed for a mother dog and her 7 puppies, who were at a high kill shelter. The mother dog had been found wandering on the streets, and was picked up on a Friday afternoon. The shelter knew she had puppies, judging by her bag. They searched for them, but couldn't find them. After 2 days they found her 7 puppies, and were able to reunite her with them. She was in a shelter a few hours from HART, but the ad was been circulated trying to find someone to take them. On the day they were scheduled to be euthanized we were able to confirm to the shelter that we could take them. Thanks to the wonderful shelter volunteers for helping transport her and meet us halfway with her! Nikki and her 7 pups made their way to us, and the rest is...yes, you guessed it....a happy ending. Nikki is a Blue Heeler Mix from our best guess. She is approx. 1 1/2 yrs. old. Very friendly, does great on a leash and knows how to sit, and down. We are working on her other commands, currently it's Shake. The turn around in Nikki has been amazing. We can show you before and after pics,and you wouldn't believe it was the same dog. She looks so much better now!! She weighs approx. 45-50 lbs and is full grown. I haven't measured her but I'd say with a rough guess she's probably 20-22 inches tall at the shoulder. That's just a rough guess though.
Daisy Mae
Daisy Mae is a 10-11 month old Lab Retriever-possibly Great Dane Mix. She is a very sweet girl!! Very laid back to be so young. She is spayed and current on all shots. She walks well on a leash, however; if she gets spooked or scared of something she will hesitate and sometimes lay down, almost like she just freezes in place. She does know how to sit, and we are working on trying to figure out what else this sweet girl knows. She needs a little work and she'll be a FABULOUS dog! She is already a great dog, but if she could get worked with a little more she'd be fabulous! If you are interested in adopting her, you will be required to fill out an application and be approved before being allowed to adopt her. Pictures taken September 10, 2011. She is approx. 22 inches tall at the shoulder, and approx. 55-60lbs.
Sweet Pea is a very loving and sweet girl. She's got the typical Lab personality and is a doll to be around. She appears to be mostly Lab. We were told she is a lab/mix, therefore we listed her as that. She does look mostly Lab though. Loves to play, loves to play with other dogs, and has a great temperament overall. I don't think she's met a stranger yet, human or dog. She is spayed and current on all vaccinations. You will be required to fill out an application and be approved before being allowed to visit/adopt her. She is approx. 1 year old.
