I sent an email a while back to let you all know how good she was doing, but she is still doing very well. She is very well behaved and very smart. When I got her she was extremely scared of everything new, which seems to be a personality disorder in her since she was much too young to have sustainable mental damage prior to me owning her. I've socialized her though, so now when she meets someone new, she still is wary of them and sometimes hides behind me, but no longer cowers or wets herself. She goes to the dog park at least three times a week and has many friends there, and also gets to hang out with her doggy cousins up at my brothers house and play in the lake. She loves swimming, and her favorite thing to do is splash the water and then try to catch the splash in her teeth. She also does this with snow, she nuzzles the snow, tosses it into the air, and tries to catch it. I take her hiking a lot, and while she still pulls on the leash, when she doesn't have the leash on she stays near me and never goes off after squirrels. She never begged at the table either, except a couple of weeks ago I took her to a cook out where she learned that little humans drop things much more often than big humans, so she will always beg when a child is at the table. She still looks much like a puppy although she is fully grown at 31 pounds.
She's doing well though, and has mastered most of her obedience training. She is still afraid of loud noises, like the bell on my bike, a vacuum cleaner, or the dish washer, but I've read online that these things are mostly normal. I'm attaching a few pictures for you as requested, and will go down the line and explain them :)
The first picture is her in my bed, just hanging out, and hoping for pettings. The second one is her at the dog park with her two doggy cousins, Lilly and Bismark. That was Lilly and Bismarks first time at the dog park, and Bismark is slightly aggressive, so they both were stuck on leashes until they got comfortable enough to not lash out. the third and fourth pictures are of her playing by the lake at her cousins house, the fifth picture is her pouting over me telling her I was going to clean up her mess. She loves those hedgehogs, but as soon as a thread gets loose, she cleans out all the fuzz inside them. She also has a gutted duck, platypus, and three gutted toy squirrels. The sixth picture is of her graduation from obedience school, and the last picture I'm including is of her on her first birthday. I put wetfood on a plate with a candle on it.
Hope this was what you were looking for. Thank you so much for caring!
